The most prestigious Club competition in memory of our past Chairman (1994)Roy Randle again provided some excellent images, reflecting the best taken by our club during 2009.
The competition was ably judged by Mr colin Brenchley of Worksop, who stood in at short notice. Our thanks go out to him for travelling out on the wintery evening.
The entry of about 50 images was whittled down to 12 and the winning image on the night was by Club Secretary Andy Cotton with his image of the Wellington Monument, Peak District in Autumn.
His name was entered on the Shield for the 6th time, previous winners included Martin West, also 6 times winner, Dave Softley,John Kaperys and Mick Eastwood a past member.
